CV and Content Submission Policy
By submitting your CV and personal data or other content to us, you agree that we may put your name forward and represent you for current and future vacancies, provided that we request your permission to do so. You will be considered for appointments that are available to Websters depending on a potential match with your stated profile. The information in your CV will be used solely for recruiting and screening purposes for positions with Websters International and its clients.
When you submit your CV and any personal data or other content to us, you agree to the following:
- The information which you are providing is, to the best of your knowledge and belief, accurate and not misleading.
- That it is not discriminatory, obscene, offensive, defamatory or otherwise illegal, unlawful or in breach of any applicable legislation, regulations, guidelines or codes of practice or the copyright, trade mark or other intellectual property rights of any person in any jurisdiction.
- That all information, data and files are free of viruses or other routines or engines that may damage or interfere with any system or data prior to being submitted to this site.
- That Websters may use your personal data, such as name, address, work history, etc, collected via this website solely for recruitment purposes. If your application is successful, your personal data may subsequently be processed for your employment file.
- Your personal data may, as necessary for the above purposes, be transferred to third parties relevant to our recruitment processes. Websters will seek to ensure that those third parties will process the personal data in accordance with the purpose and within the limits under which the data was originally collected and that third parties provide at least the same level of protection as Websters, although we can offer no absolute guarantees or indemnities in that respect.
In accordance with our general policy on document retention, your personal data will be deleted within 24 months of submission, unless you request otherwise, if your application is unsuccessful. If your application is successful and you are being considered for a position, it will be retained until the application process is complete. Beyond that, if you are offered and accept employment with Websters or with one of our clients, your application will be placed on your personnel file and retained in accordance with our policy on document retention for employees.
While we make every effort to ensure that the high standard of this website and to maintain its continuity, the inherent instability of the internet may give rise to errors, omissions, interruptions of service and delays at any time. We do not accept any liability arising from any such errors, omissions, interruptions or delays or any ongoing obligation or responsibility to operate this website (or any particular part of it) or to provide the service offered. We may vary the specification of the site from time to time without notice.
We accept no liability for any loss (whether direct or indirect, for loss of business, revenue or profits, wasted expenditure, corruption or destruction of data or for any other indirect or consequential loss whatsoever) arising from your use of the site and we hereby exclude any such liability, whether in contract, tort (including for negligence) or otherwise. We hereby exclude all representations, warranties and conditions relating to this website and your use of it to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify us and keep us indemnified against all costs, expenses, claims, losses, liabilities or proceedings arising from use or misuse by you of this site.
You must notify us immediately if anyone makes or threatens to make any claim against you relating to your use of this site.
The use of this website and any agreements entered into through this website are to be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. The courts of England are to have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with the use of this website or any agreement made through this website.
By ticking the appropriate box on the application form and by submitting your CV you understand and accept these terms are additional to the general terms and conditions relating to use of this website and give permission for Websters International to use the data you submit for the purposes referred to.
Websters International ("Websters") is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our website visitors; this policy sets out how we will treat your personal information.
(2) What information do we collect?
We may collect, store and use the following kinds of personal information:
(a) information that you provide to us for the purpose of registering with us (including the details provided as part of our CV and Content Submission Policy);
(b) information that you provide to us for the purpose of subscribing to our website services, email notifications and/or newsletters (including blogs);
(c) information that you choose to send to us, such as comments in blogs and communications arising from the CV submission process.

You are responsible for keeping any password and user details confidential. We will not ask you for your password (except when you log in to the InfoBase (intranet) section of the website.
